jonfett Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I think that sometimes people are not to honest when they say the can, but really they think they can.. but they can't. I know for sure that it isn't a question of being able to, but a question of wanting to be able to. Like if you got it all, without having to be troubled by any of it would you still attempt too? I want to know how you do find the time to fill when you know you don't. But you feel you can because you want to try. What do you think?? Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 i think the problem is: IF there is somebody, who THINKS that he can do something, but he can't do it. where could he know from, that he can't do it? and more important: if he knows that he can't do it, but still think that he can, where does he know from that there isn't anybody pretending him that he can't? maybe he can, but he thinks that he can't though he thinks that he can! jonfett Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 Good point. I think that what you do should not be applied to a situation if you cannot do it. But when you feel it is right to do something that you can do which is wrong, then you should be able to do it. If you feel you can't do it then don't. If it is the correct way for it to be done then yes its ok. But when its right and you feel that you have to do it cause you know its wrong then you are thinking the wrong thing. It would be much simplier to try not to understand the way you cannot do something which you have done. Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 but... where do you know from that you can try? and much more important: if you try and fail, where do you know from that you failed? is there a way to see if you had success though IT LOOKS like you hadn't? (in case you had success without of knowing it) and finally who should pretend things to you? god? beings on a higher level than human race? aliens? what kind of guys does Plato mean if talking about the beings making the shadows WE see in the "hoehlengleichnis" (sorry, no idea what the english name is... :()??? and if the things we have are only shadows: WHAT are the 'real' things? and this 'real' things: where can we and that other beings know from that they aren't only shadows, too??? its a vicious circle we never can escape from. so maybe the new question should be: what is the origin? where is the origin? what is the sense of it? why has it a sense? and even: has it a sense? and another important question: why is it so much important to know the sense? and why is the english word "sense" the same word that is used in german for "scythe"? is it a hint to the death, so the only sense is the death? where do i know from that english is a language that exists? maybe i'm just a guy in a LARGE laboratory and all the things i can see are just invented to see if people can handle such "crazy" things (crazy for the scientists, not for me, everything in this world is usual for me). and maybe we can now understand the sense of things like spam mails, feet fetishes and even george w. bush. they are situation made to confuse me / us and to see how i will react. my 2 cents Quote
jonfett Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 ..feet fetishes are situation made to confuse me / us and to see how i will react I think that situations which are like this are not just here to see how we react in the type of circumstance it is but to test us also. Like to see how we can cope with the amount of pressure or understanding it gives us. But some would say that the confusing things like "feet fetishes" are there becuase they are meant to be. We are born with these personalities and if they are not with us for the time we spend here then we will not be doing what we were here to do. Some of us have harder times and struggle with the things we are having to live with everyday but that is not the case. If we want to be like we are we should try to stay like so but if not then it is is hard to break free and forget what you need becuase you don't want to. Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 We are born with these personalities and if they are not with us for the time we spend here then we will not be doing what we were here to do. but this would mean that e.g. the life of a murderer had only sense if he really murdered someone... then it should be the question: is it GOOD to try to achieve your life's sense? had the murderer a moral life if he murdered somebody??? and if not, are these people who can't find any sense in there life people who has "bad" senses???
