Skull's Eye Schooner - review?

I can't use the search function for some reason - I don't know why

But I've browsed the review thread, and there's no Pictorial Review of the Skull's Eye Schooner - Is that correct?

I'd like to make the review if you guys can wait a few weeks? I just bought the ship on ebay, so now I'm waiting for the postman to arrive sometime before christmas - the seller stated that it was in beautiful condition, so let's wait and see

My own christmas gift to myself this year - maybe my daughter can play a little bit with it when I'm done

EDIT: I've built the Skull and here's a comparison shot between my beloved Carribbean Clipper and the mighty Skull's Eye Schooner

There is a new one standing by in the Academy, but with PTV and stuff it hasn't been moved down here yet... And yes, it is a pictorial. I believe there are more in the older threads as well.

I'm not the boss here, but I guess that You can simply do Your own review even if there was another one. I'm not sure for 100%, but I remember that there were some sets reviewed by two different guys. Well, two people can have two different points of view on a set and there isn't something like "official" LEGO PIRATES review right?

If you are interested in doing reviews, it would be a great idea for you to join the reviewers academy. Also, you are right, there are always different perspectives on sets and there is no "official" review. I have always been told that multiple reviews are fine of sets because they do give differing perspectives. :pir-skull:

Yes - I'd like to know what that reviewing academy is? I'm currently photoshoping some pictures that I've taken of a small Creator 3-in-1 box and the 3 cars/trucks - but if I'm not even "allowed" to post a pictorial review in the Creator section then I'd stop photoshopping

Yes, you are defintely most welcome to post a pictoral review in Other Themes, where Creators currently resides, regardless whether you have signed up for Reviewers Academy or not.

And your search engine isnt broken, it has been disabled for vassals only, as a (temporary?) measure against overload since EB crashed a lot the last weeks... It may or may not be enabled again if the real reasons behind this have been found...

I see... so what "rank" do I have to get to be able to search? Write 100 posts or something?

I's just pretty unnormal for me, cause I have to dig tonnes of pages to find some interesting topics ( like the one about this academy thing ), and this "tool" would be very usefull.

But if it's just technical problem and nothing con be done as You say, then what can I say...

And yes, it is really done for a good reason... hopefully the problems will be solved so the vassals and guests can use this function again.
