Governor Mister Phes Posted September 3, 2005 Governor Posted September 3, 2005 If they existed in animated or even live action form, what would the mini-figures talk like. Here's a Phesical rendition: The Spanish Inquisition Greetings Compliment Imperial Forces Advice Objective Captain Roger Future Plans Albino Fur Seal Complaint I might do more later... I might not... xwingyoda Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Indeed, that was quite entertaining Phes !!!!!! You should do more of those !!! Ohhh you forgot the seal ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 4, 2005 Author Governor Posted September 4, 2005 The seal has been added at your request Master Yoda! I have done recordings for dialogue between Governor Broadside and Admiral Woodhouse upon his arrival at Eldorado Fortress. However they're presently a series of seperate files which need editing and mixing together. My multi-track audio editor doesn't want to install for some reason, so I attempted to use Audacity but that kept crashing. So once I obtain a working copy of my preferred audio editor I mix the dialogue and then post it. Quote
chewie Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 That was hilairious Phes, the seal was the best:P. You should do little voices for everyone on EB here that that would be funny!!!! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 15, 2005 Author Governor Posted October 15, 2005 Surely other members can invent their own special voices... Quote
Norro Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I'll never be able to look at your avatar in the same way... not after that fur seal... God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 15, 2005 Author Governor Posted October 15, 2005 What's wrong with the fur seal? Quote
Norro Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 What's wrong with the fur seal? It's the oddness of an impression based on written words and a little spanish fig being shattered by an audible voice out of the blue... God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 25, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 25, 2006 The Spanish are audibilly represented too. The Fur Seal was just an after thought after Master Yoda asked how come he wasn't there. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 How bizarre! Phes, I think you've finally flipped your mini-fig wig. Surely other members can invent their own special voices... Or not I think you're taking these Pirate threads way too serious Phes. Maybe we need to place your avatar mini-fig in Arkham Asylum for a while- just to gather your thoughts (and voices). Or you've finally posted one too many "Pirate and Castle" posts and you've completely run out of subject matter. These voices are the end result. *wacko* Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 26, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 26, 2006 The Brickster I'll state the obvious... This is just a bit of fun!!! As I didn't have a digital camera last October when I created this thread I decided to create audible MOCs, as I couldn't share any made from LEGO. Given that October was almost 6 months ago you should be well aware that I haven't run out of Pirate subject matter. Furthermore in the near future other Eurobricks members may be asked to record their voices for a certain project, but I am not a liberty to disclose any further information at the moment. That is the reason I have bumped this thread, for the benefit of another who requires such voices. Quote
gylman Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 (edited) Actually.... regarding your avatar, Phes. There are some issues there All comments about my new avatar and signature can be made in the Mister Phes's new Signature & Avatar thread. Edited March 26, 2006 by mister_phes Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 26, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 26, 2006 I suppose you could have PMed instead... By any chance Mr Gylman did you listen to any of the voices and have an initial response you'd like to share with everyone? Quote
gylman Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 I suppose you could have PMed instead... By any chance Mr Gylman did you listen to any of the voices and have an initial response you'd like to share with everyone? Entertaining, to be sure, and thanks for your efforts. Yet they somehow leave me wanting more - like those 10 second movie trailers that show a flash of action, something blowing up, but I have no idea what the movie is about. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 26, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 26, 2006 Some of them could make an appearance in a future project so you could well get more. Or maybe not! Time will tell. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 you should be well aware that I haven't run out of Pirate subject matter. I was afraid so, I think it's time to go back to Arkham Asylum. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 26, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 26, 2006 I can't go back there because I was never in there in the first! It appears this new Batman theme has warped your sense of reality... Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Sure, and one of those voices told you that (perhaps Captain Roger, or even the seal). Yes, your friends are waiting for you. They've kept your place just as it was- pirate Lego as you left it. But we will have to give back the tape recorder now... ;-) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 27, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 27, 2006 No idea what you're on about, The Brickster... You need to some Western LEGO right away.... Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I'm just teasing you Phes, please don't take it seriously. Like much of the material contained in the forums, it's always an outlet for sharing our creativity. Good voices. I'm curious what a mystery, western, classic castle, train, and adventure mini-fig would sound like, all rolled up into one??? Perhaps Ghost Rider sounds like Jack Palance as Curly in the movie City Slickers (if you've seen it). Quote
Evil Willy Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 The links have fallen overboard, help them will you please? (They dont work) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 30, 2006 Author Governor Posted March 30, 2006 I downloaded and tested a couple of them and they worked fine. Maybe the server went down briefly, try again now and see if it works. Quote
