Just a quick question: in what order are you supposed to read the panels?

The way it is presented it looks like it should be:

1 3

2 4

However sometimes the dialogue seems to flow:

1 2

3 4

If it is meant to be the latter perhaps you could remove the space between the columns.

The latter is correct. I simply put the space there becuase there would have to be an awkward space somewhere, and I chose to put it there.

It just so happens that in the next one, however, your way of doing it is what I did!

3 4

This is because most people read from left to right. As such, the second format is correct.

Yes, except with the space between it became two columns/pages rather than a four-panel block.
