aFrInati0n Posted Monday at 03:30 PM Posted Monday at 03:30 PM (edited) Disclaimer: It may be stated that with Alt Brand parts a complete blue BigFoot Body can be accomplished, this is why the Manual and the render are showing a blue body! If one likes to stick to original LEGO parts only, a black Bigfoot body can be created, but no blue one. Edit: Oopsie, I wasn't aware of me as staff not allowing to participate in TCs - wasn't aware of this & with this edit removing the Tag from the title and text. Background As my online gaming buddy is a tall guy (203cm) and his Gaming Nickname is BigFoot, I thought of creating him a little MOC for his birthday as a suprise gift. As he has 3 kids he has not much time for big sets, so I knew it had to be something small. With that in mind I came to the idea of creating a small, but RC capable chassis with a fitting Bigfoot body. Details Remote controlled (GoBricks 4x8 Receiver used, Buwizz2 may work as well with tiny modifications). 1x XL Motor (RWD only) 1x Servomotor No LEDs Rear wheels have a (kind-of useless) suspension working sideways, just to allow some flexibility between front and the rear axle Images Chassis The Bodies can easily be lifted backwards for easy-access: Bigfoot Body (unfinished) Grave Digger body Render Files Manual: Mini-Monster-Trucks-RC.pdf Studio File: Mini-RC-Monster-Trucks.io More Pictures: https://bricksafe.com/pages/aFrInaTi0n/mocs/tiny-monstertrucks With that posting the MOC is released as-is - I may not further adjust the manual & anything can be taken for free and further get modified or expanded. FriedlS Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Nice compact build! 😊👍 Why did you use a XL Motor and not a L Motor? With the Grave Digger Body a Buggy Motor should also fit 😊 Friedl Quote
aFrInati0n Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago Thanks @FriedlS I choose for the XL as it had the centered holes for allowing the whole rear axle to work sideways & I had fears from the beginning for the whole build getting even taller if I would have used an L motor (1stud taller) - as the main body in mind has been the BigFoot one with its flat bed. The GraveDigger body was just coming to mind as an alternative, as I believe by color and name it may be the most iconic one (at least from my memories haha). Quote
