[MOC] Bantha (brick-built)

With the Zonian bison turning out pretty well, I challenged myself with a brick-built Bantha. I had this legendary beast on my bucket list for a long time, but couldn't find access to it yet. Recently, I saw a wonderful tutorial how to incorporate the Lego fisher net into builds and realized that would be a great attachment point for the fur. I'm also very happy how the head and horns turned out. I think the Bantha is quite to scale too!

Spectacular! That looks great, and I variations like fur colour, horn shape should be doable, also adding equipment and a saddle.

The legs seem like a bigger piece from a large animal? What's beneath the fur, keeping this together?

Wow, ave-inspiring! Must be one of the best banthas I have seen.

I appreciate the dark color scheme and uniquely shaped horns. They make it come alive. Perhaps some additional tint would serve its life-like presence even more? Like changing some dark brown pieces to black ones?

Also, the rear and the top feel just slightly too symmetric and uniform for a living a animal. Would some minor twists like raising the middle parts one plate higher help it?

Anyway, this is stunning! The head especially cool.
