Frugal bricks Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) Hello all! Id like to unveil my castle moc, Orzel Outpost! This will be a submission to the next BDP, but im also planning to upload it to lego ideas. Its a watchtower inspired by polish architecture, serving as a border outpost for the Griffin Knights against the serpent knights. I'll show off more renders in time, but the enclosed tower is built in removable sections and features removable panels in the back. The build is about 1650 pieces, as I wanted to create a smaller castle build that didn't chase the 4,000 piece mark. Let me know what you think! Feuer Zug Posted Monday at 12:44 PM Posted Monday at 12:44 PM Nice, compact watchtower setup. I like that you aren't going huge. Best of luck with it. Quote
BricusMaximus Posted Wednesday at 01:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:36 AM Nice use of non-grey bricks :) Quote

Thank you so much! it was certainly the goal to create a much smaller set that can be bought for under $150 13 hours ago, BricusMaximus said: Nice use of non-grey bricks :) Of course! I wanted something that would certainly stand out Quote
Slegengr Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Beautiful color palette and nice, compact tower design! I like the inclusion of a bombard cannon. Colors for the landscape and trees are a nice contrast to the structure. My only question/concern: do the wheels on the cannon roll? Quote
Daiman Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Wonderful restrained details on this, just exactly what is needed to depict the different forms right down to the tree. It actually gives this model a very graphic feel about it. Thankfully that cannonball isnt going anywhere in that puny barrel so your build is safe...for now. Quote
