      • The Windshield may be recognized for not being packaged in a thin plastic, but one which is scratch resistant to keep the part free of any scratches from transport
      • Clip-on parts of the body came in their injection molds and needed to be cut free
    • Colors

    • The whole bodywork is done via some huge molded parts, which are clipped onto the chassis from left and right
    • The molds itself are high quality and are clean of any left over injection-noses & their prints are of good quality
    • Headlights are clear press-ins
    • Mudguard would be shifted by the suspension working - so it is more for "the shelf only"

Little review (be easy on me, I am not a review-guy..)

Yesterday I finally freed up some time to sit down and build the Panlos Ducati Panigale. As mentioned above, parts came in multiple bags with two labels (1|2). Building the model from the manual was done with ease most of the times - connection points were marked for putting prebuilt groups of parts together - in some singular images / steps I had the feeling there may have been a better angle to view what needs to be done - but I did not receive any step as not understandable.

The set had no missing parts and I even have some spares of the regular suspects (pins, etc). I am no gearbox-addict, so I can not really describe if the gearbox is similar / different to the LEGO Kawasaki or other motorcycles (I can offer some pictures of the manual for you folks telling me... :pir_laugh2:)

After one is done with all the technic parts, it is time for the wedding of the chassis with the body. Basically one needs to remove the injection-mold parts from their little noses / cleaning up the edges partially with a cutter knife. Then it is clipping in some parts (mirrors, headlights, fins). I did a minor change for the mirroring-surfaces, which would get a sticker, but I replaced them with custom cut-out holo sticker sheets (Iridescent non-eggshell stickers).

It took me somewhere between 2-3 hours for building the set, but this is with the short additional sidestep of creating the iridescent mirrors.

Conclusion

Besides the body "not being bricks any longer" the feelling of putting it over the technic was quite satisfactory, I have to admit.. All technic parts came together well and there was nothing too loose or to tight.

I can recommend the set for people being interested in motorcycles and open to third party manufacturers.

Last word: I hope we can have a good dialogue here in the Community Forum and are not getting into brand discussions.
