Ngoc Nguyen Posted June 12 Posted June 12 "If it has lime and red like a CLAAS and uses tractor tires like CLAAS then it's a CLAAS" - said someone. Well I heard you say this set looks like a CLAAS, so I turned it into a CLAAS. It's very convenient that CLAAS has a line of compact front loader that uses only one cylinder for lift. Here's the Torion 530 in real life. It's also very convenient that I just did a front loader on this scale with pneumatics earlier this year. So don't mind if I do. FUNCTIONS There's not enough piece to build a bucket, so a log grapple is the best way to go. The bottom half is black, but the top half is red because I ran out of black parts because there are real grapples that actually look like that. Since the Torion is a general purpose front loader, I made the grapple a detachable module. As a loader, it has those two familiar functions: arm lift and attachment tilt. And me being me, feeling that doing those two alone would be so boring, decided to add an extra little thing. A working steering wheel! Cuz why not. INSTRUCTION: https://reb.li/m/265710 Quote

mpj Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Very clever use of colors to match the Class loader as close as possible! I like the design, and how you managed to make it considering the limitation of parts. Maybe I will build it as a moc (with correct colors of the wheels) and not as an alternate considering it uses the half of the parts of the Unimog. Quote

Here's the biblically acccurate Torion for you. 28 minutes ago, Timorzelorzworz said: great and fast :) Thank you! Quote
