Hi, I'm Ryan. I found this forum when I was looking for places to talk about Lego that were not Reddit. The slower pace and (usually) more deliberate discussion on forums is something I miss from my introduction to the internet, and I'm happy to see the format still going strong. Plus, the site works on my work computer.

My interest in Lego was recently rekindled when my parents started clearing out my childhood home ahead of a move. I've found myself taking on all the Legos I had as a child. Primarily, it's Aqua Raiders (I had every set if I'm not mistaken), Lego Racers (a seemingly forgotten theme), Indiana Jones, and, of course, Star Wars. Most sets are from 2000 - 2010. I'm having a lot of fun digging through big bins and trying to piece together or restore all the old sets. The goal is to eventually get everything organized into sets with all the pieces found or replaced.

Outside of Lego, I'm interested in sports like baseball, soccer / non-American football, and basketball. I'm an avid snowboarder in the winter and terrible skateboarder in the summer. I'm a "lowercase g" gamer with a PS5 & Nintendo Switch, as well as an interest in retro games. I keep up with world news and my local politics and try to stay involved in my community.
