awesomeaustinv Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) Hello, I'm Austin! I'm an AFOL from the United States who grew up with classic 80s and 90s LEGO sets despite not being alive during that era, because my dad gave me his childhood LEGO collection when I was a kid, so I love retro-style and retro-inspired MOCs :) I've been on Flickr for over a decade, and was aware of Eurobricks for most of that time, but somehow assumed it was only for Europeans so I never joined... until now, as most other websites don't have as much feeling of community as they used to, but the community aspect is the most fun part after building! In addition to retro stuff, I frequently build cars and trucks, Technic machines, sci-fi stuff, Bionicle MOCs, and characters. A little bit of everything, really. My longest-running projects so far have been a model of an NA Mazda MX-5 Miata (which reached 3k supporters on LEGO Ideas before timing out), a 1:22-scale model of a 1966 Thunderbird (a model of my first car! Yes, I was crazy), a series of birds, and a series of My Little Pony characters based on the design of a one-off build by Andrew Harvey which I felt had the potential to recreate any character from the show. I also like to build rovers every time Febrovery comes around :) Outside of LEGO, I'm a woodworker, classic car enthusiast, guitarist, and gardener. Edited March 31 by awesomeaustinv Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Welcome aboard... I can tell from the 1966 Thunderbird that you're a classic car lover! You were lucky to have your dad's collection from the '80s and '90s. I think they are well-designed sets that stimulate the imagination! Quote
SpacePolice89 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 (edited) @awesomeaustinvWelcome to Eurobricks! I especially like the Ice Planet ship that you have built. If you want to post larger images they must be hosted on other sites like Bricksafe or Brickshelf and then linked to Eurobricks. Edited April 1 by SpacePolice89 Quote

Unfortunately, I don't really know any other hosting providers specially made for LEGO®, but any regular file hosting provider also works. Quote

This happened a couple of months ago. Quote
