I like to share my latest project "Wind-up: Speed Champions SEAT 800".  I was always curious on how wind-up actually works and if it could be combined with a LEGO car.  I selected the SEAT 800 because it had such a special history and the proportion was just right for the wind-up mechanism.  The link below has more info, photos, and even a video of the wind-up in action!

Thank you for you support!  Let me know what you think, thanks!  Link: https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/0e8e979b-edfd-463e-b4a3-eabd4e5e5e8f

Simply charming build, but also impressively functional! Your roadster with the functioning drop top was cool, but this is on a whole other level. The fact that you can actually wind it up and it has an actual functional (rubber) spring to power it is fantastic stuff!

I sincerely hope that LEGO turns this into an actual set. The whole concept is simply charming and demonstrates just how great of a toy LEGO truly is. Supported your Ideas submission as supporter #377!
