Jundis Posted January 2 Posted January 2 (edited) Hi guys+gals, even though winter theme isn't necessary, I stuck with it and hopefully will have enough snow here when both models are finished. The small tractor (slightly above mower-scale) is almost finished and scratching the 300 g barrier in the virtual model, so I couldn't include the tilt of the blade... :-/ The rear gritter is connected via clutch to the wheels. The tracked snow-blower uses the basic set-up of the 42148 Snow Groomer with the rubber wheel for traction. First I wanted to include a clutch-breaking on this model, but it barely has any influence and looks way to bulky. Still unsure if flex-axle or soft axles will be used on the front of the snow blower. Edited Friday at 03:57 PM by Jundis Quote
1gor Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I suppose that limitations to 300grams is the reason that tractor driver would get pneumonia etc.. Quote
bruh Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Very nice! I am especially interested in the snowblower blades. Quote
Thirdwigg Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Fun little idea. Love the tractor, but I find the engine of the snowblower makes it look a little too bit. But the blower part looks great so far. Quote

I am really bad at making engine details on the snow blower... but still have 100 g left ... any ideas are welcome :D @Jim Are the system parts on the blower (panel and plates) okay? Technic parts are too bulky here... Quote
Thirdwigg Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Looks much better, and I'm happy to see you are continuing on this project. I hope you are able to finish it. Quote
1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Great to see progress here! I like the looks of the tractor. Also, use of one strategic system panel is perfectly fine by me. Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I like the snowblower! And I wouldn't expect that System usage to be a problem. I've never taken it as a rule against using system parts; just that we're trying to avoid full-on System styled models Quote
Jundis Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Thanks for the support guys! Finally got the last system parts to finish both models up. They work really nice, especially the small tractor is fun to play around :-) I am not 100% satisfied with the look of the snowblowers engine, but I think I'll leave it as it is. Thankfully we had some snow left (balcony), to see the machines in their works ;-) Quote
Thirdwigg Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I love the little tractor, and the snowblower turned out great. I'm happy you were able to finish these. Quote
1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Both turned out great! The blower reminds me of my uncle's; love it. I'm glad you managed to get those finished. Quote
