LesDiy Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 Hi everyone, My name is Sophia and I’m part of a small independent project called LesDiy. We work directly with MOC designers to legally license their creations and turn them into physical building block sets, with full credit and compensation to the original designers. I’m posting here not to promote products, but to genuinely ask for feedback from the AFOL community. Many of us on the team are builders ourselves, and Eurobricks has always been a place for thoughtful discussion around MOCs, design integrity, and the future of fan creations. Some questions we’d really appreciate your thoughts on: What matters most to you when a MOC is turned into a retail set? From an AFOL perspective, what would make such projects more respectful and transparent? We’re still learning and would love to listen. If this post is inappropriate for the forum, please let me know and I’ll be happy to adjust or remove it. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing your opinions. Quote
1963maniac Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 (edited) Ownership!! The MOC was designed by someone who needs to be given credit for it and compension for it! Theft or copying of someone's design work should not happen! Edited Friday at 09:59 PM by aFrInaTi0n changed fontsize to default Quote
aFrInaTi0n Posted Friday at 10:02 PM Posted Friday at 10:02 PM Hello @LesDiy and welcome to our forums. I find it a kind and accountable gesture from your brand to register here and get in contact with the community. If I understand you correctly your brand is actively contacting any MOC designer to ask for his approval before you assist with adding it as one of your products. I would find that a kind and sane model of collaboration. Quote
