Murdoch17 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A while back, I bought a girder bridge off my brother. I immediately got to work expanding it to be a double track train trestle... but it had nothing on top of he bridge deck and thus it looked like it was missing something. Meanwhile, my brother got to work redesigning a truss bridge for his own purposes from a Rebrickable model he found. I saw his finished work and asked him to expand it for my girder bridge, which he just finished doing after the parts I ordered got here yesterday. This MOC is the final result! There about thirteen bricks worth of space from the top of the rail to the bottom of the roof girders, which is plenty for most trains. Looking down the bridge span. This bridge is supposed to sit between two tables, and should be at an upcoming GTWLUG show in early January. Here's a picture of the reinforced underside, with some help from my brother - he held the model while I took the photo! As you can imagine, this thing is kinda heavy (a few pounds) because it's so reinforced / well built. Thoughts? Quote
