Back in the days, I got as one of my final City-sets (as a child...) the fantastic TV Studio Van (6661).
What not to love of this model - its blue colour, the contrasting grey base, the little camera, a white satellite dish - and a lot of openings!

Now, I kept searching for a modern update of this model for my Modular city layout, but it should be 6-wide for my needs. When I found "nwbricks" great MOC of an Ambulance (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-49042/nwbricks/ambulance/#details), the gears started working...

And here it is, based on nwbricks model, but with another roof, TV studio interior and some other changes: The "modern" TV Studio Van - but for me, it quite looks like a Citroen HY from the 1950/60s. So maybe, it should be not called "Modern Update" at all ;)

The only details I changed for my real world build are bigger tires (which unfortunately don't move anymore, but look great!).

Had the original one as a kid, your recreation with the iconic chevron logo is great!

But one thing: Why didn't you use the normal blue door?

Good question ;)

Sometimes less (or easier solutions) would be better. But sometimes, you just don't see this solution :)
