takuto20 Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Yes, naked minifigs. Don't ask about this sick project of mine :P So, the question is: What is the cheapest and fastest way to get a naked minifig (I mean eeeeeverything yellow)? There was an all-yellow Classic Space Buddy out there, but these are usually too old, don't look shiny... Can I remove the paint off the Islander's torsos? What else? PS OH, thanks to the Extreme beach sets I got some "black underwear/swimsuit" legs, but I look for all-yellow.
Starwars4J Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Brasso can remove the paint from minifigs with a yellow base
SuvieD Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Spiderman sets have a Norman Osborn figure with no clothing on the torso. The figures are usually cheap. Then all you have to do is find some legs.
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 17, 2005 Governor Posted August 17, 2005 Yes, naked minifigs. Don't ask about this sick project of mine :P It can't be any worse than that website I found a few months ago... Can it?
takuto20 Posted August 17, 2005 Author Posted August 17, 2005 Oh no, nothing too adult, just a vignette. I hope I can get that cleaning liquid somewhere! That would solve the problem since I got many islander torsos... it's torsos I need and because I already have some yellow legs I bought at Bricklink... The weird thing is, those legs all have springs, like lego basketball legs! I have no idea where did they come from.
SuvieD Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 You shouldn't destroy good islanders though! There must be another way. I have some naked torsos I can trade you if nothing else. They are in used but excellent condition and still have their shine. You should see this guys site. He has blank new torsos for $0.50 only. That isn't bad at all. You would have to get 20 but that isn't a bad thing. The NBA yellow legs come from the collector 3 packs with the Lakers uniforms. I think there are two packs with the yellow.
