evancelt Posted August 22 Posted August 22 "1920s Prohibition Figbarf" This is a series of 10 figures created for an upcoming Series 5 - 1920s Prohibition release for Rocky Mountain Minifigs. The series is comprised of figures representing all walks of life from the 1920s, including the aristocracy, criminal underground, suffragette movement, speakeasy lifestyle, and ordinary townsfolk. All of the figures feature hair, many of them cut down from full hair pieces to fit under hat elements. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) (Scott Joplin's 'The Entertainer', as used in 'The Sting' intensifies) This fig barf is certainly the bee's knees* @evancelt! I especially love the benzine buggies**, and what I'm saying ain't no banana oil!*** * bee's knee's = outstanding, remarkably fantastic, or awesome ** benzine buggy = automobile *** Banana oil = The act of using insincere flattery and deception, particularly with the intention to deceive (For those interested where I got these phrases, see the Wiki page for 1920s slang. Beware: it's a very long article!) Edited August 23 by Murdoch17 Quote

Sebeus I Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I'm loving those cars! Splendid work there. Even though they seem a bit large for the excellent minifigures. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 31 Posted August 31 The white car is fantastic, the detail on the headlights and front fenders is incredible! Great scene! Quote
Elysiumfountain Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I love the car on the right, it looks so cool! And the fence technique is awesome as well! So many cool details here. Quote
flyingpancake Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Great build, i see you had a lot of fun with the minifigures. I believe some luxury cars from the 1920 only had a roof for the passengers but i could be wrong. Quote
