Nicoo Posted August 14 Posted August 14 The IR remote control stopped working. The motors do work when connected directly to the battery pack, which also lights up green. Then I connected the IR receiver, and it also lights up green. Then I bought a new IR remote control. This one lights up green for all commands! But the car doesn't respond. So I bought a different receiver. Still no movement or response... I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any suggestions? Quote
JopieK Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Hmm, sorry to hear that @Nicoo. First, thanks for joining Eurobricks. However, please post in English, I took the libery to put your post in Google Translate and updated your post. - Did you try the second port? - A picture will already help a lot. - You could also debug the IR signal (e.g. using Arduino) , since the new IR gives the same results. - It is alas most likely the motor driver IC in the IR receiver is faulty, of course you could take the receiver apart, but if you are not into electronics it is not that easy. Did also read this from @Philo, our LEGO electronics expert: https://www.philohome.com/pfrec/pfrec.htm Quote
Zerobricks Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Did you check the batteries are still fine? You can see if the IR LED is blinking via a phone camera, it should look purple. Quote
