Hello everyone,
I'm excited to show you my latest alternate build from LEGO set 42210 – the Nissan Skyline GT-R turned into one of the most iconic vehicles of all time: the DeLorean from Back to the Future
I wanted to capture the most legendary features of this time-traveling machine, especially the flying mode – so all four wheels rotate 90 degrees in sync, just like in the movie.
Features:
  • All wheels rotate 90° for “flying mode”
  • Iconic gull-wing doors (open upwards over the roof)
  • Detailed interior and recognizable DeLorean silhouette
  • Dimensions: 40 cm (L) × 18 cm (W) × 12 cm (H)
  • Built using approx. 95% of the original parts from set 42210 for maximum detail
  • Despite the original model having many stickers, I designed the build so those parts are hidden – no need to remove any decals!
  • Easy to add extra parts (like cable detailing or other movie-accurate touches)
INSTRUCTIONS SOON
