Cpt_Flint Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) Hey! My first post here. I decided to share some of the builds I made since 2020. Here's an imperial ship ( the most detailed one I built so far). I built it around 2022/2023. I tried to make some details such as storage, surgeon, carpenters, sleeping place for the crew, midshipmen/junior officers cabins, captain's cabin etc. Edited June 18 by Cpt_Flint Quote

Cpt_Flint Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 Thanks! I managed to upload the photos. I'm open to positive AND negative feedback. I'll be posting some more topics with other builds I did in the last years. Also, I'm working on a much bigger ship now, stay tuned! :D Quote
GeoBrick Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Good job on depicting the crowdiness aboard the typical sailing warship, though the infirmary might be a bit full for a vessel not in action? The separation between 'officer country' & soldiers vs the sailors is nicely done. At first glance I can't figure out how you fix the sailor's tables on top of the cannons. You must have poured hours in fixing the ropes and ladders for the masts, it is very accurate. The only thing I found that's weird is the asymetry of the windows on the stern. There's this one spot you use two rows of round bricks next to each other? Quote
Cpt_Flint Posted June 19 Author Posted June 19 (edited) Thanks guys :) Yeah I tried to make it crowdy. Regarding the infirmary that's a fair point but I figured it might be a couple of hours after the battle. The tables were placed on the round bricks, as far as I remember. I remember struggling with the canteen. It was hard to make it look squeezed and crowdy and still being able to build it ,,legally'' :D. Regarding the stern - I agree. It might've been better. The thing is that it was my 3rd or 4th ship. Each time I just go with the flow and learn on the road. Next one was a bit different ( I'll make a post as well :D). Ohh yeah and the rigging of the ship. Well, it was hours. I would say at least 30... I also found a photo on my drive showing the scale. The ship is shown with the body of the Imperial Flagship from 1992. ps. Next MOC - Redbear's recapture is posted :D Edited June 19 by Cpt_Flint Quote
NOD Posted June 19 Posted June 19 A truly magnificent ship! Especially the interior view with details of the various decks. On each deck of the ship, the individual rooms were built in detail. Minifigures can be seen at work everywhere. Quote
Fraunces Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Very nice ship indeed. Cant imagine how many hours went into that. Great work Quote
Franco Clarke Posted June 22 Posted June 22 That is a deceptively large ship, the attention to detail on the interior is especially commendable, don't see many ships with full decks like this. Quote

I don't remember exactly but I would say like 4 seasons of Black Sails + around half of Game of Thrones :P. I like to play some series that I watched already and just listen to the dialogues and watch the highligts :D. Quote
