Elephant Knight Posted June 13 Posted June 13 (edited) So I built a ship incorporating some Power Function features. A ship utilizing the coral and dark bluish grey hulls together. Coral only had the top section in one Friends set, and the DBG only came in the avengers Helicarrier. The two hull pieces worked together better than I anticipated. It's built in a much later age style than what I tend to do, much straighter, less curvy. This ship honors my older brothers MOC from 17 years ago or so. He built a ship, called it the Sea Hawk. Combined with the 2009 Pirate line being announced, was what really kicked off my enduring love for Pirate Lego. I have fond memories of it. All lit up! But guess what... It does more! Click here to see a picture of it moving. It's motorized! Let me know what you think! EKnight (Incidentally, does anyone know why I can't embed pictures from Flickr like I used to? I used to be able to just copy and paste the link, and the pictures would appear here on the post. It doesn't now. I assume it has something to do with the recent forum update?) NOD Posted June 14 Posted June 14 A magnificent ship with the coral red color. The ship's bow with the beakhead is particularly well built. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Quite the ship. Lots of details and a good mix of real lines for the rigging, and the LEGO piece. The colors work well together. I see cannon poking out. Does it have a detailed gun deck or cabin? Quote

The interior is too full of the power function motor and battery box, along with all the cords. EKnight Quote
Fraunces Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Very nice ship. Not really sure about the color but it does make it a very unique sight. The lights and the motorisation are such lovely extra's. The rigging and sails are neat also. Quote

I agree the colours are a bit unusual, but I actually like it more than I thought I would. Eknight Quote
Franco Clarke Posted June 22 Posted June 22 The ship was unique enough with the innovative selection of colours, but the fact it drives around and lights up too makes this truly one of a kind. I'm impressed by how well the lighting wires blend into the intricate detail of the stern. Quote
