mahjqa Posted June 3 Posted June 3 This video is of a trial run we had last weekend. It's not really a competition, it's just messing around with raw materials. These are models by different contributors. If you have questions about the separate models just ask, they hang around these parts. The audience really liked the sorting machine. The models work well together, but we still need bulldozers or other equipment to clean up all the spilled material, for example. Also, while the sorting machine was 100% accurate, improvements can be made in the input, output and throughput department. We'll keep plugging at it. If you want to check it out yourself- the next runs are planned in Meijel (The Netherlands) on the 24th of August, and in Utrecht (The Netherlands once again) 16-22 October. Love to hear what you think! Quote
Aurorasaurus Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I saw this on YT a few hours ago, and I thought it looked like a lot of fun! Maybe something with conveyor belts would be fun to watch, as a kid they always fascinated me... Quote
howitzer Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Omg, I'm actually planning to be in Utrecht at that time... how do I attend? Quote

It's a yearly event called Legoworld, their site is here: LEGOWorld . Currently it still shows the 2024 event, but in a month or so ticket sales should start for the 2025 edition. It's a fun day out, showcasing the Netherlands' best builders... And me. Quote

gyenesvi Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Wow, this is so good to watch, those little RC machines are beautiful, great fit for Lego! Quote
mahjqa Posted June 3 Author Posted June 3 (edited) @howitzer Last year they were €26. To me that's still worth it, but obviously that depends per person. Edited June 3 by mahjqa Quote

Appie Posted June 3 Posted June 3 @mahjqa I have seen it first hand, but I think the topic would like to see some of the internals of that sweet Technic packed teal grabber And in case anybody wants to know, here's some info of my wheel loader: I actually made this september last year, hence the small bucket (I couldn't figure out a proper brick build one) and not the new sweet one from the Volvo loader which was released right after this weekend Functions: 1x L motor for drive 1x L-motor for steering 1x M-motor for bucket lift 1x M-motor for bucket tilt Controlled with Pybricks and Xbox controller A little comparison with the new Volvo wheel loader I finished building today: Any questions about it, feel free to ask Quote
mahjqa Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 Another meeting, another video: There's still plenty to do in preparation for Legoworld in a month, but folks have brought their greatest machines to contribute Quote
Thirdwigg Posted Thursday at 05:58 PM Posted Thursday at 05:58 PM My favorite is the forklift dumping the whole pallet and cargo into the hopper. Quote
Jundis Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Cool compilation! The Claas Dozer is really cool, my favorite out of the bunch :-) 1 hour ago, Thirdwigg said: My favorite is the forklift dumping the whole pallet and cargo into the hopper. Just like in real life! :D Quote
