Will the model work without the direct drivetrain (fake drivetrain with frictionless clutch)? Can you test that out?

I have taken it apart now, but yes, I'm pretty sure it will work.

1982-1994 is a long ago historical era when cars were still bulky and boxy - exactly like LEGO bricks are.

Thanks to the inventory of the 42210 Nissan Skyline GT-R discussed in this topic, the parts can be reused to build an iconic BMW E30 M3 as free alternative build with no additional parts required.

Except for internet bandwidth and a great building time, this model costs you exactly nothing. FREE building instructions available for everyone who is interested in b-model building. Find out how to build functional and stable with a very limited parts pack - in this case the 42210 inventory.

You can follow this link to grab your instructions for this model.

A good friend of mine, Gerald from Guys and Bricks, made a cool video about BMW E30 alternate build that uses only pieces from 42210 Nissan Skyline GT-R discussed in this topic.

Leave him a subscribe for his work on his beautiful channel.

Well, there are rumours of a LEGO Icons Jaguar E-Type... given that it's an old-school car, are you expecting it to not be curvy?
