codyaner Posted April 17 Posted April 17 The Stinger Mantis first appeared in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, piloted by Greez Dritus and later used by Jedi Cal Kestis. But in this dark alternate timeline, Cal has fallen to the Dark Side. Now, with a squad of Purge Troopers and fellow Inquisitors at his side, he hunts down the remaining Jedi across the galaxy aboard his corrupted version of the Mantis. This Alternate Build uses only the parts from LEGO Set 75389 Dark Falcon—no additional pieces required. It’s a perfect solution for builders looking to get the most out of their set while adding a highly detailed, lore-inspired ship to their display or play collection. Key Features Fully transformable between landing mode and two unique flight positions Removable landing gear for easy switch between modes Fully detailed interior with: Dual cockpit (pilot and co-pilot seats) Central holo table to plan missions Computer units and control panels Crew seating area with an in-universe TV setup Cargo section in the rear Opening top hatch for full interior access Functional boarding ramp that opens and closes Sleek, all-black design befitting its dark purpose Building Instructions and more photos can be found here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-217347/codyaner.bricks/dark-stinger-mantis-75389-dark-falcon-alternate-model/#details Quote
Agent Kallus Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Wow, this is great. It might be the best one of these rebuilds you've done yet. And the non-csnon colour scheme isn't even a problem here as you can change the look of the mantis in game ( I tended to go with yellow but I digress). I'm almost tempted to get the set just to do this! Maybe I will if I see it discounted, I like the minifigs included in this one but they were never gonna be enough on thier own to justify a set of this size. Quote
