Cyrix78 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) I have now motorized another Icons/Creator Expert Veichles.(i have done 16 of them now) I always try to make the motorization as invisible as possible, you should not be able to see any electronics without looking very carefully. As an F1 is so small and compact, I had to make some smaller visible changes to be able to fit Buwizz and motors Steering wheel is still working, but the fake engine had to be removed. I have also motorized the McLaren, so now I can run a F1 Gran Prix in the living room:) Motorized with Buwizz and 2 PF M-motors. Instructions available at Rebrickable. Jurss Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) It would have been good to include some pictures, how motorisation is done, as topic is about that. Now this topic looks like just advertising for instructions. Edited March 23 by Jurss Quote
aFrInaTi0n Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Great MOC! I would also be interested/curious to see more details of a MOC which is looking great "from the outside" already. @Jurss seems there also no more pictures offered of the internals on the RB moc page. Quote
gyenesvi Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Agree that technical details would be nice. 18 hours ago, Cyrix78 said: Motorized with Buwizz and 2 PF M-motors. By 2 PF M motors, you mean 2 for drive, or 1 for drive, one for steering? Or why is it just on-off steering? Quote

I think this is on the edge of what is possible to motorize with Lego motors(if you not count the very rare micro motors) 12 hours ago, aFrInaTi0n said: Great MOC! There is a simple return to center mechanism for the steering that works fairly good, but are not perfect. There is just not much space to make it any better. Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Woah, I skipped over this at first as "just" another good-looking F1 car, but now seeing those pictures of the motorization, I'm seriously impressed! Quote
