domik Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Hi, I'm domik, from Greater Poland, in Poland (obviously). I have sometimes a weird sense of humour, and prefer the brittish accent of English. I always had a thing to legos, but after the pandemic, that is around 2022, I've realised that since lego makes motors and battery boxes, you can make a working, remote-controlled car! And that was when I started to get into building MOCs. The first vehicles were terrible looking back, but I was happy from them back then. I started making MOCs with regular bricks, not technic around 2023, mainly interested in building trains, that of course can drive on their own. There were a couple of them, and the latest one I published to Brick Train Awards - you can see it here. I also recently got into terrain MOCs, but I'm still learning how to do it. But now my focus is really back into RC cars, and my recent one has capabilities comparable to @Didumos69's Greyhound buggy, which I took some inspiration from, but I haven't finished it yet. Sorry for such a long introduction, it's just me. Apart from legos, I'm keen on making music, programming in Lua and the Finnish language. Have a nice day, or afternoon in Poland :) Quote
Daiman Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Hi there domik, welcome aboard. I am also a fan of RC cars (although I dont use them) and trains along with Star Wars are my main focus when building. I am working up to a medium scale landscape for my trains based on rural Australia in the eighties. your Ukko Pekka is a great build and I lovethe level of details. Hope you have a great time in the community here. Quote

You can always start planning it digitally using the following programs. Bluebrick, https://bluebrick.lswproject.com/ Train Depot Track Designer, https://www.diesel-dave.com/lego/train_depot/td.htm Just remember to gauge how much space you have available to set one up. Track layouts get large quickly... Quote
