CvS Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Has anyone seen this game before: The Treasure Hunt from 1989? There is none for sale on Bricklink and there is no price guide either. I also haven't seen it in the collections of collectors who have EVERYTHING from the Classic Pirates ;) According to BrickLink: 'This gameboard and instructions are known to have been included with some copies of sets 6270 and 6285. When included with set 6270, it was shrink-wrapped to the outside.' There is one for sale that I know of....but it's difficult to determine the value without a reference. Quote

CvS Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 (edited) No, they're not mine. Unfortunately. I got them from a fellow LEGO enthusiast who pointed out the game to me. How much do you think the game is worth? How much would you pay for it? There is one (shrink wrapped) for sale for €175,- Too much? Just right? Golden opportunity? Tough decision... GeoBrick Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I like that wind-blowing cloud in the center of that game map. "Steer across the bow, me hearties!" Quote

victorycount Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Yeah, I have this one in my parents house. I loved it as a kid and still love it, my boy (4 years) loves it and his cousins (around 10years) love it too. Our "How to play" is white though, not yellowish. The paper figures aren't there anymore, we play it with old standard playfigures. But good idea; we could replace them with the battlepack minifigures, would make it more piratish. I already had the idea to convert it to a digital game, but I'm still not sure how to do it... My brother got the "Forbidden Island" back then. I better not tell him that it might be his. Quote

FestersQuest1989 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I got my 6270 around early 1992? maybe. (yes, it was the blue plastic bottom re-release) i still have photo's of me unpacking it (the wrapping paper i mean) it did not come sealed here, and also did not have that game inside the box. i would have remembered if it did. pretty sure Lego boxes were never sealed here like that.
