The city is under attack, so all of its citizens have been asked to contribute to the war effort. A surfer and lifeguard have teamed up to convert a lifeguard truck into an Armored Mobile Artillery From the front, we can see a thick armored windshield. The new hood piece with a gap for a window piece is very nice, and I really wanted to use it as a windshield, and I think its shape really lends itself well to the overall design of the MOC here. Two powerful headlights can light up the battlefield, while below we also see two orange hazard lights. Below, two minifigure float pieces have been reused to act as heavy duty mudguards to protect the front tires from battlefield conditions. A top down look at the mobile artillery. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the flipper pieces filled in the gap in the roof. The artillery in the back has a roll cage to protect the gunner, as well as a panel that surely controls the gun in some way. Besides the gun, a medical kit provides aid in case the gunner or driver is injured. The gun can rotate a full 360 degrees and can be angled up or down, giving it a pretty wide range of motion. How the truck looks like from the rear- honestly getting those taillights on was a miracle, I was literally running on fumes when it came to pieces to attach in a SNOT way. A look at it from the side. Not really its best angle but I'm happy with the overall silhouette and bulk. The crowbars acting as guardrails is a fun building technique I picked up from the boutique hotel! Alongside the doors, you can open the cab by lifting up the windshield. If you look closely, in the rear of the cab, you can see a weird collection of pieces acting as scaffolding to hold up the roof. This jury-rigged structure was necessary to keep the build legal, otherwise the roof would just be resting on top with nothing holding it. Another shot of the rear, I think this showcases the angle the bumper is placed at better So that is my Mobile Armored Artillery! I hope you enjoyed the build and explanation! I really appreciate this contest, as it did provide a true challenge to flex my creativity and problem solving skills. Parts of this build would've looked better or been easier to put together if I had access to my full range of parts, but the fact that I had to use a set that didn't really have a lot of snot bricks or hinge bricks (relative to what I would typically use in a MOC) meant that I had to be resourceful and creative with how I put this build together. But overall I am very happy with how the MOC turned out, especially the shaping on the cab. Thanks for reading! It would be a good idea to use an external image host such as Flickr or Brickshelf. Eurobricks isn't really designed for hosting images, hence only low quality images can fit within the limit. Quote

Yes, personally I think the best way is to use the BBcode option, which on Flickr you can find under the share tab. The BBcode option is only listed on the desktop site however, but of course you can use the desktop site on mobile anyway. Quote
