DisneyLego Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Buildable Pooh leaked/revealed. Comes with new Winnie minifig print (napkin on neck) and Eeyore. Buildables aren’t my thing but it looks to be a nice build and expect many to love it (minus the price). 9x9 inches side note: there appears to be a small Easter egg in the set showing the crew as minifigs including Christopher Robin, so fingers crossed he pops up in the other set rumored to be coming ——scratch that, pictures of Piglet’s birthday fun are out too, another buildable Edited 15 hours ago by DisneyLego Quote
JeanGreyForever Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago They're cute sets although I wouldn't pick them up personally. The new Pooh minifigure doesn't really interest me. They're a nice way for people who missed the original set to pick up the minifigures. Hope we can get a Christopher Robin minifigure one day. Both sets depict Tigger and Rabbit which make me wonder if they'll come up with more buildable sets to feature one or both of them in minifigure form. Tigger, particularly, is super popular and I can't imagine Lego would miss out on a chance to include him somewhere. Quote
OttoRiver Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) The buildable Winnie the Pooh looks better than I thought it would. Managed to really get the roundness of him down. And Piglet isn't quite what I was thinking from the initial brief at all but is a cute set for $40. May pick these up later depending on what else comes out this year. Starting to think Lilo and Stitch's Beach Party may just be a buildable Stitch with a minifigure Lilo given the similar naming to Piglet. Crossing my fingers that unrevealed 18+ is a minifigure set otherwise it doesn't look like there is much in the ways of minifigures for this year. Just noticed the special 100 years on both of the box images for Pooh. Not sure if this is all they have planned for that event or more coming down the pipeline later in the year. hikouki Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago They do look nice. But not for me though. I want location sets and movie scenes with minifigs. Quote
brickbride Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) The Pooh buildable fig looks nice, but the Piglet one? Am I the only one who finds it kind of hilarious how little the buildable figure resembles the minifig of the same character that's also included in the set? I guess they couldn't have afforded striped prints for the torso pieces. And I guess they couldn't have figured out a better way to do the ears at that scale. But I still don't think the build looks all that good overall. Edited 9 hours ago by brickbride Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Pooh looks great, Piglet… eh Nice to see the minifigs return, but Christopher Robin would’ve been a welcome addition! Also, there’s only thing that comes to my mind when looking at the piglet figure: FIRMLY GRASP IT!! Edited 5 hours ago by BrickBob Studpants Quote
Aramar Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Good to see the minifigures back for those who missed the original Pooh set. I'll skip these buildable sets because I already have the old figures, which look better to be honest (without the napkin and with the scarf). I can't wait to see what the 18+ set is, since it seems the only chance to get new characters in minifigure form. Quote

Despite Piglet's skinny proportions though, I do think this is the one theme where the buildables look closer to the characters than the minifigures. Piglet's minifigure always looked too chunky to me, whilst oppositely Pooh doesn't look wide enough around the middle in minifigure form. 8 minutes ago, BrickBob Studpants said: The Monsters Inc BrickHeadz set has been revealed!
