I doubt they brought it back just for a random hobbit Ā It would be a good way to bring Slughorn back as much as I was hoping he would be in a modular castle set. Quote

I doubt they brought it back just for a random hobbit Ā Shall we pin this list and come back to it to see how close you were?Ā Yeah your keen eye with the hobbit's face has me hoping there will be some HBP representation, although Gabrielle Delacour can attest to us getting faceprints we thought were bound to get reused and never did. The Daily Prophet photographer was also thought to be a good fit for Karkaroff if I remember right and that never happened either. Granted though, neither of those faces were a previous character print brought back. And it would be really good I think if we got the Harry, Ron and Hermione from when they were outside in the snow in HBP as well as Katie, as that way the trio from Series 2 and the advent calander aren't repeated.Ā If it turns out to be POA based I could see Fudge being in there as well as McGonagall again. For anybody who's been to the park in Orlando, are there any specific uniformed employees in Hogsmeade? Like the Owl Postmistress was included with the owl post. Quote

BacktoBricks Posted April 13 Posted April 13 1 hour ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Yes please!Ā Ā We should make a game out of this, like the CMF guessing game So for the rumoured $379.99 price I'd expect at least 13 minifigures. The Slughorn face is making me think it will be HBP based, although the head may be for the advent calendar or even come back to be used next year as September to January is very close. But here's my HBP minifigure lineup: Harry, Ron and Hermione (outdoor winter HBP outfits) Katie Bell Leanne Draco Dean Thomas Slughorn Mr Flume Mrs Flume Rosmerta Owl Post worker Random studentĀ Ā That being said, I have to wonder if the student that could be Hermione with the red outfit in the new QQS set is either Katie Bell or is reusing a torso that might come in Hogsmeade as Katie is wearing a red coat when she is cursed on the path to Hogsmeade. It might be there way of giving us Katie to use in Hogsmeade without actually including her in the set. Ā So if Hogsmeade is more POA based, then I'm guessing something like: Harry, Ron and Hermione (POA outdoor winter outfits) Draco Dean Thomas Rosmerta Fudge McGonagall Mrs Flume Mr Flume Owl Post worker Fred and George (Marauders Map gifting scene outfits) Ā Ā Ā Ā Quote

Huigberts Builds Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Now that Lego seems to take some more inspiration from the parks, what are the chances of us getting Zonko's in the Hogsmeade set? Quote

Depends on whether this approach also applies to D2C sets. After all, out of all the DA sets, only two of the playsets were partially inspired by the parks, the rest was movie-based. My guess is that the upcoming set focusses on the movies since there are already enough shops they can do without having to rely on park-specific additions Quote
BigHobbit Posted April 16 Posted April 16 The Hogwarts Express book nook set image is now available on this most fateful of days in a usual place. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Nothing to write home about, but still a pretty cute set! Iām more looking forward to the LOTR and Sherlock Holmes book nooks / book ends though Quote

If I didn't already have a nice Hogwarts Express one, then this set would go on my instant want list. I can't WAIT to see the other two, though! I'm really hoping for a Baker Street exterior/interior book nook. Quote
BacktoBricks Posted April 16 Posted April 16 So going on the leak for the Creator Horse Knight Castle, the sketch leaks are clearly made from tracing the actual set pictures so that answers how accurate they are or if they are put together from descriptions.Ā So we've kind of seen the sets already, but I can't wait to see the actual photos and get a clearer look at the minifigures. The book ends Hogwarts Express is a cute little set and a perfect way to display your Harry Potter books if that's your kind of thing, although the train looks a tad small compared to the minifigures. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Wow, this actually looks really good. It's more of a diorama really that can function as a book nook. Much better than I'd anticipated. Quote

The book nook also is pretty near identical to the leaked sketch. The interior of the Main Tower though was done differently and from a different leaker so I still wonder if that was a true leak or an artistic rendition of the text leak. Quote
karrit Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I"m impressed with the book nook.Ā It was a definite no when the concept was announced.Ā But now it's a most likely when it goes on sale somewhere. Quote
brickbride Posted April 16 Posted April 16 (edited) Well it had better go on sale, EUR 100 seems way too steep for that. It looks okay but not EUR 100 okay, you know? Also I think it might look weird folded together as a book nook, since then the carriage of the Hogwarts Express would shift to representing another adjacent train like there's a fleet of Hogwarts Expresses or something. Also the pic makes it seem like they use gold on the engine and bright light orange on the carriage which I don't think will look good together. Edited April 17 by brickbride Quote

brickbride Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) According to a fateful source, prices for the summer sets are to increase across the board because of tariffs, but not necessarily just in the US (European market's still up in the air). He explicitly mentions a couple SW, Ninjago, and Marvel sets. No HP yet but we'll see. Edited April 17 by brickbride Quote

Bugbot20082 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I really hope the Hogsmeade set comes with a Hagrid, it would be nice to have a new variant wearing his moleskin coat, could be dark grey, or dark brick yellow base colour perhaps. They could then re-use it for a set hopefully of the Detention in the dark forest which we have talked about several times in the past (lots of debates about dead unicorns š¦)Ā Quote

BacktoBricks Posted April 20 Posted April 20 So does anybody else think we might get a buildable Harry Potter logo next year? Maybe 76464 the rumored 12+ set. I think the Harry Potter logo done smoothly like the Star Wars logo would make a collection centerpiece or just a casual fan buy as much as the Star Wars one does. Granted, the letter configuration with the jagged and uneven bottom to the letters doesn't make it as easy to make a standing logo as the Star Wars one, but I feel like Lego would find a way. Quote
