So there’s a good chance we haven’t seen that villain in Lego form before. Most theories I've read online say it's Phantasm But that technically should count because she IS in a movie Quote

I thought it was usually 1.5 years for a system set (unless it gets extended). I was going by the 1.5 years and assuming an Oscorp modular would drop in October/November. 23 minutes ago, Robert8 said: Most theories I've read online say it's Phantasm But that technically should count because she IS in a movie Matt Reeves did say they have “never really been done in a movie before,” so I guess there is some vagueness for animated movies, TLBM, and cameos. Basically, it rules out Joker, Two Face, Bane, Ras, Talia, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Polka Dot Man, Ratcatcher, Black Mask, Zsasz and probably Clayface ie all the A-listers and a lot of the B-listers (and a handful of Z-listers we never suspected would be included). I wonder if someone will ever dare to try Posion Ivy and Mr. Freeze again in the big screen. Those are the only villains from the 90s movies that never came back. Quote

Either way I really don't think there's a huge overlap between modular buyers and that very simply-built playset, so the copium stays. Quote

At least the Prices are good for Batmobiles 😂 the rate there going the Modular might end up being a Batman themed garage to store all those bat vehicles lol 5 hours ago, psqidexslizer said: In the past, we’ve gotten one set earlier in the year (January in all but one instance) with minifigures that are later used in the modular building. So, either that tradition is breaking, we’re getting another Batman modular, or the modular is going to Marvel. Personally, I’m betting on either a Baxter building or Oscorp (the current one will be retired at that point and The Daily Bugle will have retired, meaning Lego is gonna need a new flagship Spider-Man set). Daily Planet would be a great choice for 2027 though, given the release of Man of Tomorrow and Superman being the most iconic character left who hasn’t gotten a modular building. that would be great for Marvel, I'm sure they can release 2 Modulars in the same year for each theme. or is it too much on the consumers wallet they are worred about. previous years both themes received large sets , exception this year. it also does seem that Arkham Asylum is selling. Includes 9 figures: Batman (identical to the last tumbler), Scarecrow (identical to 2021 tumbler), 5x mobster (re-used pieces), 2x Bat-vigilantes (hockey pad printing) Quote

Somehow no one will bring up the fact that The Dark Knight involves hangings, stabbing people's eyes out, etc. 14 hours ago, brickbride said: Scarecrow's van is the GWP, not included in the set. Right, of course. It would simply be too much value had it been included in the main set. 53 minutes ago, hikouki said: At the rate they are going, I would actually need to buy it. LOLOL. This is the environment lego strives to create. Buying something simply because there's nothing else. Quote
DaredevilFan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It’s kinda interesting seeing the design choices from the new LEGO Batman game. The Kilmer Batmobile looks like a downsized version of the set but his Sonar suit is a different design. Adam west has the same printing but with dual-moulded arms. Guessing that means that if they do a Pattinson minifig it doesn’t mean he’ll get the boots. But then it’s a shame they didn’t give him the gauntlets. We also got a new look at the 66 Batmobile with the stud shooters. The animated series suit is the same as minifig Quote

calebcold3 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Assuming the LEGO Batman Logo Has 4 minifgures at most, which figures do you think/want to appear? I feel like a good/realistic selection of figures in the set would be: Joker Harley Quinn, Clayface (it would be his debut as a minifigure after all these years) Classic 2006 Gray Suit Batman (similar to the 20th anniversary LEGO Star Wars figures where there is a print on the back celebrating 20 Years of LEGO Batman) Quote

Batman, Joker, Robin (Dick Grayson), and Catwoman. Arguably, those are the most iconic Batman characters and should be included in any anniversary set. Beyond that, in respective order: Alfred, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), Commissioner Gordon. Quote

I agree on the first three, but Catwoman? I think Harley's become more popular- for better or worse- and I'd also consider characters like your aforementioned Alfred, Batgirl, or Gordon above her. Catwoman's one of his more popular rogues, and their romance adds something, but I don't know if she's THAT popular. 1 hour ago, calebcold3 said: Classic 2006 Gray Suit Batman (similar to the 20th anniversary LEGO Star Wars figures where there is a print on the back celebrating 20 Years of LEGO Batman) It's important to note that the Star Wars logo had no minifigures, so there's no guarantee this will have any, but I'd love a classic 2006 batman, especially if they brought back the old cowl for it. Also, when are we getting a cowl they can use for the movie batmen, where you can actually see the eyes under the cowl? Batman has had white eyes in one scene in one of the live-action films and that's it. Edited 1 hour ago by Mandalorianknight Quote
