Unfortunatly this will never happen ( :'( ) but if I had to chose I would go for:

Zelda : A real nice heroc fantasy theme with great characters...

Metal Gear Solid: an awsome infiltration theme with a lot of great MF and villains !!!!

Tough call, but I gotta go with the classics.

First Choice: Megaman!

The characters already look like Lego minifigs, and it has a nice "cute" design sense with lots of big industrial "vehicle"-style robots

Second Choice: Mario Bros.

Lego Koopas and Goombas would be awesome, and little brick-built castles.

Third Choice: Zelda

Again, cute characters that would adapt well to mini-figs. Plus you could have all sorts of dungeon and village sets, with little cottages and forests.

Fourth Choice: Final Fantasy

Pretty much for the exact same reasons as Zelda. The mini-figs woudl be great for all these themes, though.

Starcraft, Warcraft 2, Mario Brothers, Megaman...

but if I could make a Lego line it wouldnt be based on a game... it would be based on a series of books. :-D

Dragonlance, A song of Ice and Fire, or the Pern novels for castle lines, but I would really like to see a line of Discworld characters. |-D

I'd have to go with either Mario Bros., Zelda, or Shining Force. Mario Brothers could make for nice little sets with good minifigures. Zelda could have a fantasy feel with castles, dungeons, and forestmen-type sets galore. Though not exactly well known, I think that Shining Force would make for a great line. It has a medeival setting, so castles and villages would be good. Such sets that could be made are villages, the Ancient Tower, Balbazak's Fortress, Shade Abbey...the list goes on. Many of the heros and villians, along with villagers, would look fantastic in Lego minifigure form. Many new and useful parts could be brought in, too. Only problem is, I don't believe that Shining Force has a large enough fan base to be successful in Lego form. So much for dreaming.

Contra: The Hard Corps. Nice vehicles, monsters, robots... Great game.

Also: Mortal Kombat. Warriors and sceneries... I'm not as fond of it as I was 10 years ago - in 1995 I'd buy every Lego MK set if there were any! But it's too graphic for Lego anyway.

Sonic The Hegdehog. Sonic minifig might look interesting.

in my younger days i played a lot with Dune2, 2000 and Emperor. unfortunately, i can't play with the last one anymore cos i can't get it started on windows xp, but i'd love to see lego versions of the military units, like the launcher, trike, wolverine, heavy tank,... it'll never happen of course... but if would have been fun :oo

I'll agree, the Shinhing Franchise would be very excellent. good to see another fan of that series lurking around.

I would have to with "The Legend of Zelda".

I'm not a big gamer, but when there's a new Zelda game out I always get it.

And if it's on a console I don't have, I get the console just so I can play it.

Zelda, do you mean like this

(Image removed to keep the size of the post down)

The rest of the gallery here.

I would actualy prefer the look of the older Zelda games but this would be better than nothing.

You could simply start with "The Legend of Zelda"

Then follow it with up with "Zelda II - Link's Awakening"

And so on and so forth untill you get to "Twilight Princess"

That would give you a run of at least ten years (Gameboy games could be combined. i.e. "Oracle of Ages" and "Oracle of Seasons" would be one year and "Four Swords" and "The Minish Cap" would be another.)

(in reaction to the gallery) I really like the way the King of Red Lions looks and the pig is just too cute for words.

Its funny to notice that no one chose Pokemon !!! Looool

Seriously, to my precedent list I want to add the series of resident evil !!! That could make an awsome theme with huge Technic/Bionicle/System beasts !!! and really nice MFs !!!

I think Mario Bros. because they could make some really cool castles and I'd like to see some of the bad guys from the series. The Windwaker pics wer very good i liked th King of Red Lions

My all-time fav was Gauntlet. Oh the money I spent on that game... For those who don't know, it was an (up to) 4 player hack and slash treasure and monster-killing game.

Elf is about to die!

Main characters were: Elf with bow, a Wizard (shot fireballs), Barbarian with axe, and a Valkyrie with sword. Lots of ghosts, goblins, Death, and other assorted monsters to fight throughout a series of mazes. Lots of treasure and food to collect.

Mega-Man sounds cool as well.
