wait thats AWESOME. when I read the title i had a silly idea: helicopter attached to a base. the rotors and base are stationary while the entire helicopter body spins.

Wow, that's pretty cool, works really well, I guess it's just a matter of the right balancing. But it's great that it also leans in and starts to orbit.
