Flying warrior is either DC's Hawkman, a reference to the myth of Daedalus and Icarus, or one of the two mythological Boreads, Calais or Zethes, who were winged sons of Boreas the god of Northern Wind, who were also part of the Argonauts.

Ice Queen is most likely a reference to the Eponymous Ice Queen from a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.

And Night Protector is a generic fantasy Dark/Night Elf, especially inspired by Warcraft Night Elves.

Thanks!

I am trying to 'classify' the minifigs by theme, and display them as such. These were just some that I could not quite classify.

The Flying Warrior reminded me of Icarus when I first saw it, but he looks like he has too much armor and clothes on on to represent him. He would have been too heavy to fly! LOL But perhaps one of the two Boreads, as you mentioned.

Could the Ice King (BAM) and Snow Warrior (Series 22) be related to the Ice Queen?

Not really, they are just generic Fantasy Figures.

***Spoiler alert*** Icarus would have been too heavy to fly even if completely naked. Myths aren't real.

Many CMF might be inspired by characters from popular culture or history, but they can be whoever you like. The winged warrior could fit in many fantasy settings, or be based on Hermes.

Fluting Warrior reminds me of Hermes more than Icarus but Hermes doesn’t have wings.

Ice Queen reminds me of a classical Snow Queen story.

Night Proctor could be an inspiration from licensed game like Warcraft.

I’m shocked (sarcastically). Thanks a lot for spoiling.
