To be honest, I like the idea of the Armada, just not the actual execution. The captain Lego made for them is pretty cool, I'll give you that one, but that's it, lol. I have a few of the minifigs, and I just never liked them. There "uniforms" we're not designed nearly as well as the red and bluecoats IMO.

I wonder how Armada minifigs would look, if Lego would design them today. The red and purple soldier is a real challenge for the eye The colors clash! I still have one of the conquistador helmets but don't remember any of the soldier minifigs. Probably we had the 6232 Skeleton Crew set.

Probably like the conquistador mini we got in the collectable line.

Ah yes, that's a good one I always forget about all the CMF figures because i have never seen them due to my dark ages.

We’ve all been there!

 I missed the shelf release of a lot of the pirates sets from 2009 and 2015 and had to buy a lot on the secondary market due to my dark ages too. 
 I feel like the conquistador doesn’t really represent the armada quite as well as other minis we got. The thespian torso is perfect for a modernisation of the one we got.

Yep, another good minifig i missed! Now with only 12 minfigs, history themed ones are few and far between.

Yeah I missed this one and the Shakespeare one too. Very expensive aftermarket too.
