John Football Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 (edited) As of late, i have been working on a MOC And my current steering system is constantly breaking and the tires now have camber due to wear on the part. The one problem is that i don’t have any other parts. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks. https://bricksafe.com/pages/John_Football# Edited October 4, 2023 by John Football Added image Quote

amorti Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 There we go. That part is broken now. You need the bigger hubs. Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 That camber looks really extreme! I can't figure out how you're getting that! Can you add a picture from more of a straight-on perspective? Quote
John Football Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 Ok, I recently changed the front steering and suspension slightly and it is much more robust, but I am still having problems with the camber Image:https://bricksafe.com/pages/John_Football/steeringfront-suspension-jfootball Thanks Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Hmm. Do you think those front steering hub parts are just really worn on their pinholes? Or could it be the axles? One thing that might help slightly, and wouldn't require new parts, would be to reinforce the front side of the attachment between the suspension arms and the frame. With them just being attached from the one side, you're giving up a bit of stiffness. Other than that, I'm not sure what else you can do, other than replace parts, which is understandably problematic if you don't have the parts handy Quote
John Football Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 The pinholes are very worn on the front, but I will try reinforcing the swing arms. Soon I’ll look into buying new parts as well as the larger hubs and tires. Thanks for the help Quote
Aurorasaurus Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 another thing, add some tape around the steering ball on the hubs. i found it really helps stop the links popping off, if you have trouble with that. Quote
