kevin8 Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 Hi everyone, to do something lighter and to be able to position this modular in the diorama I'm designing, I decided to add some details to the back of the building and to complete the furnitures of the various floors. Without altering the original construction it would have been almost impossible. I got away with it by simply moving the carpet and the clock on the second floor. In any case I managed to create a kitchen in the bay window and a living room in front of the fireplace on the first floor. On the second one I built a bathroom and a bedroom. I think I've found a good compromise. In any case you can download the model from Rebrickable for free. If you like it or have any comments, please let me know. Ah, I managed to close the unsightly space in the turret roof. https://www.flickr.com/photos/kevin8/albums/72177720311560042/with/53222704953 https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-159531/kevin8/10185-green-grocers-furnitures/#details Quote
CardinalBricks Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 It’s always delightful seeing what others do with the interior of this set. I love what you did with the table legs, the coffee table build, and the SNOTed bed sheets. The dark red floor really compliments the interior too. Thanks for sharing! Quote
kevin8 Posted September 30, 2023 Author Posted September 30, 2023 (edited) Thanks! Happy you liked it! Unluckily the coffe table is now in black... I didn't notice some parts were not in white. Edited September 30, 2023 by kevin8 Quote
Jack Sassy Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Another fabulous interior MOD for this modular! I like the tiling on the first floor, furniture detail is also admirable. Good job! Quote
steamroller916 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Love what you did to 10185 and I'm in the process of building the MOC 159531 but having a really hard time with instructions. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
kevin8 Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 I don't know how I can help you. You can download the Stud.io file from Rebrickable. What exactly did you need? Quote
steamroller916 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I did download the Stud.io file, but it's the first time I've ever tried to use it.. There are only four pictures and some parts do not even show up when I rotate around. I've built and paid for many MOC's from Rebrickable, but this is the first I can't figure out instructions. For example the refrigerator and sink on the second floor do not even show up, it's blank. I've easily spend 14 hours just trying to figure out the second floor build. It's probably something I'm doing wrong. I've pretty much figured out everything else but the 2nd floor bed. Brian bwg916@hotmail.com Quote
kevin8 Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 I checked the downloadable files from Rebrickable, and they're both fine. Maybe you can't see the refrigerator because you accidentally deleted it or made it invisible? In any case, I recommend looking for tutorials for Stud.Io. Once you learn how to use it, you'll be fine. I can't say more; it's a too general request. Quote
