Since nobody is interested, I will be shutting down my archive site of Brickshelf that I posted previously. Just wanted to help, but I guess it isn't needed.

@Brickshelf Archive Why not giving it some days for people dropping by, reading and getting back to you with their kudos? I went to your site found there is no navigation available & only a searchbox, I tried 1-2 known names (kl himself and lego911 I think it was, but both gave me no single result). So my feedback is: I think if it would be more easily browsable, you may attract more people.

Thanks from my side for you having good intentions to backup contents for the community to not have another disaster like the MOCpages site happening. Please don't directly delete the bucket as then all pulling off their servers would really be a pure waste & possible work on the mentioned improvements for browsability.

btw, thumbnails are created - the great zipping started.... may take my server some more days to pack all contents up.

@R0Sch please don't expect me to directly have something prepared the next days to consume as i am a poor web developer and I may work on that on the weekend... :P

Ah, I can reproduce: Happening just on mobile it seems, not on desktop: opened the link which was working, went to the burger menu and put lego911 in the search and hit the button -> it was still showing kl's profile.

Hope it helps.

@Brickshelf Archive: Thanks for making that archive. I was wary of clicking the link to check it out, because you are a new member and your very first post included a link to a website I don't know anything about, for the purpose of large file downloads. Now that @aFrInaTi0n has checked out your website, I feel like I can trust you and your link. But I hope you understand why I was wary.

Ah yeah, may add to why the response was so little to the offer - so yes his link contains a backup of files, but I just checked two example profiles and went with the folder views, not clicking deeper as I was doing so while WFH and was in a haste :)

I had a very brief look but haven't really had time to check it out since you posted. Just want to say that I'm not disinterested! If Brickshelf does go down, it'll be great to have your archive at least, so thanks for your work :)

Please don't. I found your website very useful. I found all my pictures and folders there (except two that didn't work). You did a great job and it is very much needed! I can even use your website to link pictures here.

This is sad news, but hopefully it can stay up.

Here is Kevin's Brickshelf page. I came across it long ago when doing "random" on the site. The numbers in "()" tell what order a person joined.

If Eurobrick people can't complete an archive, I think people on Reddit's Data Hoarder group could help.

Now it has happened. Brickshelf is down :pir-bawling:. When I try to go there this text appears:

Not Found

The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

UPDATE: when i go to the starting page this appears which is good news:

Brickshelf will return…

All my pictures linked from Brickshelf are not visible on Eurobricks anymore though
