CaptainDarkNStormy Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Yet another entry by my 7yo 'Lil Stormy. This little half abandoned fortification is called the Little Ripper. Quote
durazno33 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I like the use of the round cannon balls. Although they don't fit in the cannot they do look nice in a stack. Quote
Mazin Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I like the idea of semi ruined abandoned fortification, but i'm not sure what going on behind that door :) i mean, it seems that they open up to the jetty, but there's realy not enough space to open them :) So i guess this could be worked out nicer with those 92 years he's got left to uprade this design ;) And with abandoned semi ruined outposts, i guess perhaps wooden elements should be the easier to deteriorate? Cause that jetty seems to look nicer than the bastion itself :) But the simplest uprade would be to add a minifig, there's a broken cannon, so why not a broken cannoneer to go with it. Like a skeleton of a guy in shako, with a linstock who tried to fire that gun till the very end. And no wonder he failed and the bastion become forgotten since he was provided with some realy oversized ammunition! ;) Also a flag ripped by balls or time would be nice... if there is such thing as a rundown flag in the Lego world ;) Quote
iragm Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Yet another great little build; it needs some trees, animals, and a minifigure or a skeleton to bring it to life. You have a very talented builder! Quote

I typically use them on my MOCs despite them not actually fitting in the cannons. 2 hours ago, iragm said: Yet another great little build; it needs some trees, animals, and a minifigure or a skeleton to bring it to life. Thanks, and yeah it needs a fig! 3 hours ago, Mazin said: I like the idea of semi ruined abandoned fortification, but i'm not sure what going on behind that door :) i mean, it seems that they open up to the jetty, but there's realy not enough space to open them :) So i guess this could be worked out nicer with those 92 years he's got left to uprade this design ;) And with abandoned semi ruined outposts, i guess perhaps wooden elements should be the easier to deteriorate? Rogue Redcoat Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Another great moc by 'Lil Stormy, all it needs is a minifigure, make those walls white with dark red, and make the dock one color, and your good, happy building 2 you and your son :) Quote
