Large Art and Culture: Heros of Mooreton Bay Memorial

This beautiful memorial commemorates Commodore Kane, as he and his brave men visit the city in 623.

This venerable memorial was built 200m inland from Paraiso Bay. The famous Eslandola sculptor Micelangelo created this work of art. The generous and humble Commodore Kane donates it to the Free Traders Association, and of course he also pays the license costs. It pays for it with the doubloons it found.

A friendly inhabitant shows the foreign guests the memorial and tells the exciting story about visiting Mooreton Bay. The spectators are enthusiastic, some are gloating. Only one person doesn't seem to like the story and memorial. It's probably a relative of James Hume the mayor of Mooreton Bay.

Thanks very much. Building something similar to the Iwo Jima Memorial was a challenge.

Very nice park build. I like the sea rats jokes in the accompanying text , very funny

"It pays for it with the doubloons it found."

"It's probably a relative of James Hume the mayor of Mooreton Bay." Respect, to understand the joke you had to look at Settlement, Mooreton Bay, Alicentia, Corrington.

Thanks very much, I'm glad you like the park too. You are an attentive reader and observer! Very good, you identified the Sea Rats jokes!  :pir-triumph:

Nice fountain with fine marble statues! Love the minifig posing! The trees are really impressive.

Thanks very much. Building digitally also has disadvantages. The minifig posing was very time consuming. There are also squirrels in the trees.

Fine fountain, my friend!  :pir-huzzah2:

Thanks very much. I thought just a monument on a pedestal is too boring, it looks better with a fountain.
