Vilhelm22 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) The title tells you my question. I've been on here more than five years, and though I've started numerous discussion threads across the various fora, I still haven't made and posted a single MOC. However, as I'm gradually starting to look into things, I'm interested to know - what colour sleeper do you guys think are best? The colours of tiles I see regularly are light bluish grey, reddish brown, black, and occasionally dark brown (though I believe this one is more expensive). Does anybody who's had experience with any of them recommend a particular colour? If it has any impact, I'm looking at building a terminus station. Best, William (Vilhelm22) @JopieK I just noticed I put this in the wrong forum - could you please relocate it to the Train Tech? Edited March 14, 2023 by Vilhelm22 Quote
CastleRail Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I'd suggest choosing a colour based on the era of track you're building to. Older tracks (heritage lines or historic layouts) go with Reddish Brown with occasional old Brown or Dark Brown thrown in if you have any for a bit of variety in your wooden sleepers, for more modern setup go with LBG/Black for a more concrete/industrial look.
