Problems with the bucket every time I build it I can't get the bucket to lift up makes it go forward down makes it go backwards I've swapped out the hub it's extremely frustrating because the first time I built it it worked perfectly can anyone help

Step 42 is the important part: The orientation of the orange gear selector part must be according to the instructions. If it doesn't work, please post a pic of this gearbox with the selector.
