Aramar Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 I just got my full series 3 and I love it! The series is much better than I could have imagined when months ago I was thinking about what could be included. My only tiny small complain is that I always find it hard to make the fabric pieces look good and there are quite a few collars here. Sorcerer Mickey: it's very good. I would have preferred that it didn't have all those sparkles, but it's fine. 8/10 Oswald: looks good and it makes sense to have him in the 100th anniversary. 7/10 Evil Queen: perfect figure! and we are getting its witch form with the apple soon! 10/10 Pinocchio: I always thought of him as a strong candidate, but I always imagined him with a molded head. However, the normal head with a nose it's wonderful. 9/10 Jiminy Cricket: I like that it is a full figure and not a complement. However, the hat is a big too big. 7/10 Aurora: I like her, but having a more accurate crown would make this figure much better. I like the owl too, but it would fit better with Aurora in her forest costume. A spinning wheel would have been better. 6/10 Queen of Hearts: looks fantastic. I like the skirt piece for this figure, but I don't want that piece for Belle or Cinderella, Maybe if it was 3x4 instead of 4x4... 9/10 Robin Hood: like Pinocchio, I used to think he was a strong candidate, but Nick from Zootopia could take his place. Robin looks perfect. 10/10 Prince John: funny, but I never thought of him as a minifigure. It was a big surprise, and it's almost perfect. I don't miss his tail, I assume it's under his coat. 9/10 Cruella: I love the purse, the hair and the Dalmatian. The smiling face is great, the alternate face not so much. 8/10 Pocahontas: I'm so glad she's here. I love the hair and the costume. My only complain is that we didn't get John Smith too! I also want Meeko to be a full minifigure. 10/10 Mulan: having the only rubber hair piece in the series 3 is a bit sad and the cricket would be better if it was a small item instead of being printed like that. The model looks good and I also want Mushu as a full minifigure. 7/10 Stitch: he is one of my favourite Disney characters and the new model is cool, but it is a repeated character and I wanted Lilo: 5/10 Tiana: she is splendid and looks better in my hands than on videos. Tiny complain, why does the frog have no printed eyes? Jasmine's bird had them! 9/10 Facilier: the cane is a bit short, but the figure is amazing. 9/10 Baymax: it looks better than in videos. I like it! A large body piece would make this figure not match the others, so I prefer him this way. I miss a lollipop though. 7/10 Miguel and Dante: cool figure. His skeleton face is much better, but I'm glad he has a normal head too. 8/10 Ernesto de la Cruz: masterpiece! 10+/10 So weakest are Aurora for not having a better crown and Stitch for not being Lilo (I know it's not fair, but that's how I feel). The best ones are Pocahontas, Robin, Evil Queen and Ernesto. Hopefully we get series 4 in a couple years!
BacktoBricks Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Do we know when the rest of this year's unknown Disney sets are meant to be releasing. It feels like too late in the day to not know about them for them to be June releases so maybe August?

We already know all June releases: -Enchanted treehouse - Anna and Elsa's carrousel -100 Years of animation icons -Villain icons -Disney duos

Guessing they must be August releases.
hikouki Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Isn't the castle for July? And another big set for September???
akaseim Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 I have just seen Anna and Elsa's carrousel and they"re micro doll!!! I think it's the first set with microdolls that isn't an storybook, right?
MissRapunzel Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 (edited) Surprised that their isn’t a Tinker Bell design included in the icons set. Hopefully someone makes one 🤞 Edited May 17, 2023 by MissRapunzel
OttoRiver Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Looks like the Cinderella minifig has leaked. Kind of bummed its not in white/silver but I guess it was to be expected.
GonzoTheGreat Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Wish Cinderella had her accurate hair color but I guess it’s not that big of a deal. She looks great, can’t wait to see Snow White
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Cinderella looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see more
thebricksbear Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Isnt the set $400? Hopefully this is a prototype because no leg printing is unacceptable for a big set like that

doclord Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) Disney got the superhero budget this year. Hence why retail sets have figures with triple molded legs (Russel) and every single Disney character introduced has full printing, like Moana and Cinderella. Aurora and Tiana may reuse their CMF faces but I assume everyone else will be fully new, unless Mickey appears. Edited May 18, 2023 by doclord
jjr_2009 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Cinderella looks great (the colors make sense, since those are the colors used on her for virtually all Disney merch these days). Can't wait to see the other figures, although I'm bummed that such iconic characters are going to be exclusive to a $400+ set.
Sheesh417 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Wish she had the bigger skirt piece used for the queen of hearts but she looks great! I was hoping to see some leaks soon!
Jarreth2 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Great to finally see Cinderella although it’s a shame they went with merchandising colours rather than movie accurate colours. Wish Lego would develop a new skirt piece for the likes of Cinderella, Belle, Tiana and others too. We have the dress slope at 2x2 .. the large skirt at 2x4 .. they could do a similar one at 2x3 .. somewhere in between 😁
DisneyLego Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Currently me seeing we’re finally getting some castle leaks I understand the slight disappointment on hair/dress color but for me it was kind of a given they’d go with the blonde/blue combo. I think she looks great though

If she ends up with the large skirt, then I think all princess in this set should? I guess they kept all the princesses with a ‘uniform’ skirt piece. 16 minutes ago, Jarreth2 said: Great to finally see Cinderella although it’s a shame they went with merchandising colours rather than movie accurate colours. Hoping they would in the future…

However a new 2x3 skirt could work well.
Darth Shadowthrone Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 What other minifigures are definitely going to appear in the Disney Castle?

Snow White/Prince Florian Cinderella/Prince Charming Aurora/Prince Philip Tiana/Naveen And up to four other figures we don't know about.
Brickity Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) Very good figure. New hair piece, new face, torso and skirt print, along with dual molded arms? Wow. Granted I expected the light nougat color for her hair for some reason, but this color makes sense. Edited May 18, 2023 by Brickity
JeanGreyForever Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 The colors are atrocious and it's particularly a lost opportunity since this was the year they finally released Cinderella on 4K with a proper restoration and it's original colors.

That's Cinderella's Disney Princess line color, which seems to be the go-to for all the princesses. Or at least their first figure, as Tiana and Aurora will seemingly get alt colors in the Castle.
