Bluetooth communication NXT Brick to Technic Hub (88012)

Is possible to control a technic hub with a NXT Brick? The idea is to use for example the Joystick from Philo to control the 42124 Off-Road Buggy, since both use Bluetooth.

The technic Hub (as all Powered Up) uses BLE, not "classic" Bluetooth

I think you have to go up to a Mindstorm EV3 running ev3dev with a bluetooth 4.0 BLE USB dongle.  With NXT, you need something to act as a middle man between old bluetooth and newer BLE.
