Darkkostas25 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) Finally, I have made one of my favourite American(and iconic) trains (Electric multiple units) one of the last streamliners. Attempted to make a high-speed train sadly in struggling and deteriorating infrastructure At the end of their life as EMU are still in use but only as passenger coaches Budd Metroliner Example of usage one of the engines that were used with them was GG1 Modules Original Edited November 16, 2022 by Darkkostas25 Quote
LordsofMedieval Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) Wow! These look great! I love the side windows - you nailed the shape. Why are the ends/stripes black, out of curiosity? I always loved Metroliners - they felt so British. Edited November 16, 2022 by LordsofMedieval Quote

Origin colour pallet and design is hard to make for me (in a proper way) and chose to use as fewer colours as possible but maybe try to make some paint jobs Quote
Murdoch17 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Love what you've done with the Metroliner, but the bloody nose GG-1 is the icing on the cake! Quote
Vilhelm22 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Very nice @Darkkostas25! It’s an interesting prototype and not one I’d known about before. I love the modularity - and undoubtedly your PRR GG1 looks brilliant with it as usual! Best, Vilhelm22 Quote
Feuer Zug Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Excellent work on recreating the Metroliner series. I like how you put the windows sideways or upside down (cab end) to make the carriages look proper. Quote
Celeste Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 Love the use of the wedge bricks on the ends to get that shaping! Also enjoying the use of the trapezoidal flag parts on the trucks. Very cool build! Quote
Paperinik77pk Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Really, really well designed and truly iconic!!! I love the way you used the 2x3 train windows in horizontal position!!! Great idea and I'd say really faithful to the prototype! Ciao! Davide Quote
