sander1992 Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 Lego World has begun. It was not so crowded, so I was able to take some pictures. Here a picture of the big rock that I've been working on. More pictures of the event, you can look into my Flickr album. Quote
The Reader Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 @sander1992 This colour scheme and its effects are awesome! Quote
sander1992 Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 Thank you. I hope to give you small updates very soon. Quote
SpacePolice89 Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 The Aquazone landscape is truly amazing and the builds are awesome too. Aquazone is such a great theme and deserves more visibility. You are doing a great job! Quote
-DoNe- Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Phenomenal work. The landscaping is spot on. Using snot-construction really give a smoother feeling to the rock surface which works very well for the underwater look. Quote
sander1992 Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Thank you for the kind words! Sorry for the late response. I was busy the past few months. Today a small update. I had this build just before Lego World last year, but was not able to take a picture of it. I wanted to build a scooter for this subtheme and this is the result. I thought it was nice to use a green mudguard in the front and two Trans Neon Green Chainsaws. Quote
sander1992 Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 I have an update. This is an update of my big Aquashark. I was not happy with some of the shaping of my original MOC. I have used less curved slopes and more regular slopes to give a more retro feel. My Aquanauts submarine had a huge makeover. This submarine is meant to transfer cargo from base to base. I gave the name Neptune I, because of the set Neptune III. Hydronauts have a small submarine to transport containment cells to the base. It has seatings for two. One to pilot the submarine and one to look at the scanners and to operate the harpoon. All pictures are in my Flickr album. Sorry for the late response. A new house, a study and work takes a lot of time and caused for less activity on this forum (and less building time). Feedback is always appreciated. Quote
LettuceBrick Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Very nice chunkiness to the first two subs. Are the cables for the shark to light it or is there a motorized function? Quote
sander1992 Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 Thanks! The cables are for the LEDs in the cockpit. Quote
sander1992 Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 A weird update (I suppose). I had an idea. What if Dr Cyber and Timmie traveled to the planet (and time) where the theme Aquazone takes place. How does their time machine look like? I took some elements of the Flying Time Vessel and Hypno Cruiser. I also wanted to refer to the Aquasharks and Aquanauts. Here is the Diving Time Vessel! For more pictures, please look into my Flickr album. Quote
sander1992 Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 Time for a small update? A rock with a few Recon Rays. Next weekend will be a small event in the Netherlands and I have to finish some builds. More updates soon! Quote
sander1992 Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 A small update today! Inspired by the Neptune Discovery Lab, I wanted to use the cockpit and windscreen piece for a tower. I was not really satisfied how the Hydro Prisoner Transport turned out. After some tweaking and thinking, I've made some adjustments. Feedback is appreciated. Quote
Sebeus I Posted March 13 Posted March 13 (edited) Nice going! I've been wanting to do some more Aquazone since forever. I particularly like your rockwork, splendid job! My last Aquazone MOC was some time ago. Although I did do some other underwater themed MOCs. Makes me want to upgrade my rockwork to your standard . Edited March 13 by Sebeus I Quote
sander1992 Posted March 17 Author Posted March 17 Thank you @Sebeus I! I recognize your build. When I started with Aquazone I've looked at some builds to get some inspiration for my submarines and rocks. Quote
