Jumhansen Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Hey everyone. During the winter, my twins got a bit bored from the pedal boat without their pool. So i decided to built a new vehicle for them. "Lego twins tracked tandem". It is based on the Lego 42065 Tracked Racer and RacingBrick´s MOC-21313 on rebrickable. So here is my work from the last couple of weeks. Details: Weight: ~950 gr. LxBxH: ~27cm x 18cm x 28cm Number of parts: I did not count them 2x buggymotors, 1x buwizz 2.0 Using the tracked steering module Photo´s: Video: Maybe someone has already seen it on my youtube channel. Have fun. Johan Quote
1963maniac Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Pretty cute! So, make instructions and put it on Rebrickable. Quote

amorti Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 It's pretty good! Unless they're doing structural duty, it would probably be just as good with more-common L motors. I built a little tracked thing and it really rips on two L motors at 7.2v (admittedly they're higher power Chinese motors). Quote

Sorry but I have never created a guide before. Johan @amorti THX. You are right, 2 buggymotors is oversized. I had this tracked already built, so i take this, and gear down the twins. Using the ludicrous mode is also impossible. Johan Quote
amorti Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Making PDF instructions is quite satisfying work, I find. But it is work indeed, and the first set you make will cause you pain. It's also quite possible to take photos while you disassemble the model and reverse this as a guide to construction. But, it also takes time and patience. Last option: we all should just be happy that you shared this fun creation :) Quote
Jumhansen Posted February 21, 2022 Author Posted February 21, 2022 @amorti . Maybe i will try to make instructions some day, but it seems to be very time consuming. First of all i will improve my video making skills. I am very pleased that you all like my small funny creations. Johan Quote
