Polarlicht Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 I have the same tripple switch and didn't have any problems. The wheel assembly widths have enough tolerance, but i only use the newest style lego wheels on all rolling stock (Lego, BB and others) Quote

I ended up ordering genuine 57878 wheels for all my wagons. Quote
CastleRail Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 How do people in the UK go about ordering parts from Bluebrixx? They seem to ship to every other country Quote

slagbijnieuwpoort1600 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 It seems that BlueBrixx has solved their issues with their train wheels see their website (https://www.bluebrixx.com/en/trains/401327/Theme-set-Trains-improved-Axles-and-Wheels-BlueBrixx) and a review (in German): I haven't tested these yet, my most recent purchase where 3 second hand 8w Rheingold coaches. They look excellent, and most of the bricks are good, but they all required longer axes and ball bearings before they had an acceptable rolling resistance and didn't derail in curves. Also maybe worth mentioning here is that BlueBrixx seems to have started a whole new niche of brick build trains on 1:18 scale. After their release of the V100 in this scaled turned out to be quite popular they have announced a green Crocodile and a BR 01 in the same scale. These models are too large for my taste (and my house), but it is nice to see that there are more possibilities then only 8w and 6w trains. Quote
Ian Shaw Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 I’ve just bought my first set and downloaded the assembly instructions but I’m confused as none of the packs are numbered Where do you start is it a case of opening all bags and spend hours trying to find the price you need. regards. Toastie Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 Hi Ian, depends on which set/series. Yes, BB does it that way in the "BB Special" series. It has been discussed here and there - people developed different strategies to cope with that challenge. Best and welcome to EB! Thorsten Quote
Black Knight Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 @Ian Shaw The BB "specials" sets are like building a pre-sourced instructions from rebrickable: Its your job not only to build but also to find the pieces -- but not order them. Many people like this a lot, as you get a more challenging building experience, but save the hassle of buying the parts. Quote

Ian Shaw Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 Can anyone advise what you do if you have pieces missing Quote
Black Knight Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 If you have missing pieces, you can claim replacement parts: On their website, in your account, in "Orders"; click "Expand" on the order with the missing stuff, then there is a button "Complain about missing parts" under every item of the order. If you click on that you get to a page where you can select how many of which part are missing. When you are done with everything missing from that order, you can send the request and will get the pieces sent to you free of charge. I haven't had any missing parts lately, so I can only say it worked pretty well in 2023 or so. Nevertheless if you have kids that then have to wait for a week or so to continue building is... suboptimal. Quote

I never had any such issues with BB yet, but it may of course happen in the future. On the other hand, I had such issues with other brand's sets. Over the decades, there have materialized a lot of LEGO pieces in my universe. And they perfectly click onto BB and other bricks ;) Again: Thank you @Black Knight for your advice! All the best Thorsten Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Bluebrixx is going to release the ??? (Three Investigators; Drei Fragezeichen) Scrapyard HQ and it looks actually pretty good. It comes with 112 prints. Wait until you see the fence! I must say, I am positively impressed and the set looks much better than expected. What do you think? Quote
