KA1 Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hi, I am preparing my own modular city. I have few modular sets but i wonder if you can advance me which other sets will fit. I plan to use daily bugle or the ghostbusters building So please if you have more tips let me know. I have over 300 sets at home so i can use few of them for sure Thank you Quote
Maple Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Well it's LEGO so any set can be modified into a modular. Quote
LegoDW Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 These scaled well in my city. Removed the monster stuff, nice building. This one is a nice corner or folded into a complete build. If you perfer the complete building look fairly easy to moc. Have several of these 3-1 building sets in my city This is another good one for scaling with the modulars Quote

Anything from Creator mini modulars can work for it really but also some of the most recent City buildings: I would also like to believe that something from Harry Potter can help: Few additional sets: Mind you, these are only from this year so there's plenty more to explore. Perhaps browse through Brickset catalogue and there be a chance you may find something good. Quote
Stuartn Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 I strongly agree with the city house and friends school. My best picks would be anything in this list: http://thebrickblogger.com/2021/06/second-look-at-the-lego-townhouse-pet-shop-cafe/: 31105 31097 31026 31065 31306 31050 Quote
antp Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 The hospital 60204 could easily fit without having to expand it too much: Quote
stecube Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 The haunted house (10273) Old fishing store (21310) Medieval Blacksmith (21325) Spring lantern festival (80107) Quote
KA1 Posted November 30, 2021 Author Posted November 30, 2021 I also thought about 76108 it looks like modular and also 21318 10273 and 21325 are great ideas Quote
Feuer Zug Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown makes a superb Modular building. It starts at 16 studs wide, and only needs adding a baseplate and Technic bricks. Remove the hinges and it's good to go. I yanked the pizza restaurant out of mine and created a back half to the ground floor. Quote
KA1 Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 i also add moc from both friends set. Looks really cool. I dont know about the sesame street.. Btw have you any experience with 76057? is it possible to connect it to the city? Quote
TeriXeri Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) 31097: Townhouse Pet Shop has a good bit of height and modules, but is about to retire. Friends will get 41704: Main Street Building next year which are basicly 8x16 modules, and some 16x16 shops with street-level sidewalks. Same set in different configurations.
